My daughter sent me a large package for Mother’s Day. I thought it might contain a cake, flowers, or simply a gift. But when I tried to open it, I froze in fear.
Inside the box was a huge snake.
Next to it was a note that read:
“So, Mom, were you expecting a cake?”
At that moment, I immediately remembered our conversation a week earlier. My daughter and her husband had come to ask me to transfer the house into their names. When I refused, she said as she was leaving:
— If you don’t give me the house, you’ll regret it.
After that, she disappeared. No calls. No messages.
Looking at the snake and that chilling note, I understood what her threat was really meant to imply. But the worst was yet to come, because she still had no idea what was waiting for her.
Just a few minutes later, the police were about to knock on her door… 😱 😨
At that moment, my neighbor was with me. When I tried to open the box, she stopped me.
— Don’t open it.
When I put my ear close to the box, I heard scratching sounds. Then a hiss. My heart tightened.
A week earlier, my daughter and her husband had tried to convince me to sign the house over to them. When I refused, my daughter warned me:
— If you don’t give it to us, you’ll regret it.
From that day on, she vanished. No phone calls. No messages.
Now this box was sitting in my kitchen.
My neighbor called the police. Shortly afterward, specialists arrived and opened the box. Inside was a large venomous snake.
There was also a message:
“Happy Mother’s Day. Enjoy the surprise.”
The police officer looked at me and asked:
— Do you suspect anyone sent it?
I remained silent for a few seconds.
Then I whispered:
— I think it was my daughter.
At that moment, I realized that the most frightening thing wasn’t the snake.
The most frightening thing was that, for the first time in my life, I was afraid of my own child.
And I still had no idea what would happen when the police knocked on her door…

But when the police finally knocked on her door, one chilling detail changed everything.
My daughter wasn’t home.
Neither was her husband.
On the living room table, investigators found an envelope with my name on it.
Inside was a single sentence:
“This snake was only the beginning.”
But that wasn’t the most shocking part.
A few minutes later, the police received a call from the delivery company.
After reviewing the security camera footage, they discovered that the person who had shipped the package was not my daughter.
It was my son-in-law.
And he had done it without her knowledge.
When officers finally located my daughter, she was in tears. She had just learned that her husband had used her name to send me the snake and terrify me in an attempt to force me to hand over the house.
But at the moment of his arrest, he revealed something that sent a chill through everyone present:
— You’re too late… The second package is already on its way.
At that instant, my blood ran cold.
Because another delivery truck had just pulled up in front of my house…
