During the birth of my twins, my husband left me because of my sister-in-law – and here’s what happened next

When I was pregnant with twins and in active labor, I begged my husband to take me to the hospital. As we were getting ready to leave, my mother-in-law stopped us, saying, “Where are you going? Take your sister and me to the mall instead.” 😱 😨

He immediately refused to take me and shouted, “Don’t move from here until I get back!” As for my sister-in-law, she added, “A few hours can wait; it’s not that serious.”

They all left, leaving me alone with my excruciating pain. I stayed alone, gathered my strength, and tried to endure the pain, but a few hours later, something happened that made them deeply regret their actions.

I was alone, curled up in pain, but I realized that if I didn’t act immediately, it could be too late. Shaking, I picked up my phone and called my parents. I had never wanted to bother them, but at that moment, I had no other choice.

My mother understood right away that the situation was serious. My father got in the car without a word, and a few minutes later, he was at the door. They were the ones who supported me, helped me down the stairs, and got me to the hospital.

On the way, the contractions intensified, and I was almost about to give birth in the car. At the hospital, the doctors took me in immediately, and shortly afterward, I delivered my twins.

During this entire time, my husband was not there. Neither he, nor my mother-in-law, nor my sister-in-law. No one came to the hospital. To them, “a few hours of waiting” seemed insignificant, but those few hours almost cost my children’s and my own lives.

When my husband finally learned that the babies were born without him, it was too late. Not only had he missed the birth of his children, but it was also the moment I realized once and for all that I could never rely on him again.

They regretted it… but at that moment, by my side, there were only the people who truly deserved to be called my family.
