In an old stone house on the outskirts of Rouen, tension was at its peak. The air was heavy, filled with suppressed anger ready to explode at any moment. The man, his face red with rage, pointed toward the garden through the window. Outside, under the cold rain, a 12-year-old German Shepherd was frantically digging the ground at the foot of an old oak tree.
